This policy describes how cancellations and refunds work for Prescribe AI subscriptions and top-up credit packs. It applies to all paid purchases made through our mobile application via Razorpay.
Quick summary: Cancel a subscription anytime — no questions asked. Subscription refunds are available within 7 days of purchase if you have not consumed more than 10 credits. Top-up credits, once purchased, are non-refundable because they are added to your account instantly and never expire.
Annual plans — please read carefully: If you buy an annual subscription, you have 7 days from the date of payment to request a full refund (if you have used 10 or fewer credits). After 7 days, the annual amount is non-refundable, but you can cancel at any time to prevent the next year's renewal. Please make sure an annual plan is right for you before committing.
1. Free Trial
Every new doctor receives a 14-day free trial with unlimited consultations (capped at 30 per day). No payment is required to start the trial. If you decide not to subscribe, simply do nothing — your account will be deactivated automatically when the trial ends.
2. Subscription Cancellation
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from the app: Profile → Billing → Manage Subscription.
- Cancellation stops future automatic renewals immediately.
- You continue to have access to all subscription credits and features until the end of the current billing cycle.
- No cancellation fee is charged.
3. Subscription Refunds
We offer refunds on subscription payments under the following conditions:

| Service was unavailable for more than 48 consecutive hours due to our fault | Pro-rated credit added to your next billing cycle |

| Fraudulent / unauthorised charge | Full refund after investigation |
4. Top-Up Credit Packs
Top-up packs (Quick 25, Booster 100, Bulk 500) are non-refundable. Reasons:
- Credits are added to your account instantly upon purchase.
- Top-up credits never expire — they remain in your account permanently until consumed.
- You can use them whenever convenient; there is no time pressure.
Exceptions where we will refund a top-up:
- Duplicate transaction (same pack charged twice due to technical error).
- Fraudulent / unauthorised charge confirmed after investigation.
- Credits failed to be added to your account due to our system error and we cannot resolve it within 48 hours.
5. How to Request a Refund
- Email support@prescribedose.com from the email address registered to your account.
- Include in your email: (a) registered email/phone, (b) Razorpay transaction ID (visible in app → Profile → Billing → Transactions), (c) reason for refund.
- We acknowledge all refund requests within 48 working hours.
- Eligible refunds are processed within 5–7 working days back to the original payment method.
- UPI refunds typically reflect in 1–3 business days; card refunds take 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

7. What is NOT Refundable
- Subscription payments after the 7-day window from the start of the current billing cycle.
- Top-up credits already added to your account (except in the exception cases listed in Section 4).
- Subscription cycles already completed (we do not retroactively refund past months).
- Charges from any free trial — there are no charges during the trial period.
8. Chargebacks & Disputes
Before initiating a chargeback through your bank or card provider, please contact us at support@prescribedose.com first. We are usually able to resolve disputes faster directly. Unwarranted chargebacks may result in account suspension.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app banner at least 14 days before they take effect. The version applicable to your purchase is the one in force at the time of purchase.
